In 2025 I had the idea to display, as projects, some of my mini achievements from the past and present with the view to adding future ones too. Life is one big project with lots of mini projects that are usually for leisure, personal progression, for your loved ones, for a specific cause or perhaps connected to your employment. 

Looking back, much of the spirit in how I approach life was about giving things a 'Whirl'. When my positive spirit started to be impacted in some way I would try something new or try somewhere different. Your spirit is such a precious thing, so it was a way for me to keep things fresh. 

So that's why I've called this site 'Whirly Projects'.

It's just for me as a way to log my project journeys and for anyone I know and anyone who is interested and might be inspired to do the same.

I write a short piece about each project and post them on the Whirly Stories pages. Just for fun, I also create a badge for each project and award it to myself! I display my badges on the Badge Wall page.  I also add them to my Pinterest page to share with family and friends.
