My wife started crocheting when she saw some examples at a market in London and wondered if she could make them. Our youngest daughter showed some interest too so my wife thought let's buy some yarn and crochet hooks and give it a whirl!
After starting with a simple single crochet row she soon progressed to following a pattern and created her first top for our daughter.
My wife soon got the bug and when on to create an array of items including more clothes, blankets, pouches, pumpkins, Christmas stockings, flowers, bags, scarf and much more. These photos give an insight into her progress on her way to becoming an 'impover' and then beyond, as she started to create even more complex pieces.
She certainly achieved her original goal and still loves crocheting as a way to relax and emerse herself in a mini project. It's fun, creative and the list of things you can make is endless.
